Happy Anniversary from HighTide

August 20th is the anniversary of an event that rocked our world; filled our lives with peace and music; and united a brotherhood of men in the celebration of beauty and love.

That's right: one year ago today, Max entered the FratPad, and our lives have been groovy ever since. (You thought I was gonna say Woodstock, didn't ya?)

Some people just have it all---and Max, you take the cake. You've been blessed with brawn, beauty AND brains. It's sooooo unfair to the rest of us. In fact, if you weren't such a sweetheart, I'd have to hate you.

The biggest surprise of all is how so much strength and so much genuine kindness can co-exist within one amazing man.
It's a rare thing to be in the presence of a true superstar, and I've known that you were someone very, very special from your first day; cowboy hat and silly G,I. Joe videos and all.

It's been a joy to watch you evolve and share your life with us here at the Pad. When an extraordinary person touches your life, they become part of your DNA forever, and I know that your smile, your laughter and your words will always be part of mine. It's an honor to call you my friend. Happy Anniversary! I love you---Joe (HighTide).
